I forgot to put this picture in the other post, but I thought that it was funny. Please excuse the half milk/half snot runny nose.

Snow...again
As crazy as is sounds, we got snow again. This was Tuesday afternoon. The last time we didn't get that much at the house, but we did this time. Of course this was after work and on the way to the doctor so it was a quick picture.
But it was actually still on the ground the next morning before I left for work.
A week of catch up
I know... it's been a week since my last post. Sorry! Where to begin. It all started last Monday night (02/15) Emilee started running fever that evening. So we gave her some tylenol hoping it was just some teething. I think I got about an hour of sleep that night. She was up with fever, crying ALL night long. This was only the beginning. The next couple of days she was fussy all day and ran a low grade fever on and off and then on Wednesday she decided that she didn't want to eat. She would hardly take her bottle and would cry if you even put her in the high chair. She was acting like she didn't want anything in her mouth like maybe she had a sore throat. She stayed with Granny Katie on Thursday and we were letting her drink her bottle whenever she would and she was still just not herself. Late Thursday afternoon we also noticed a little cough starting. So we went to the doctor on Friday afternoon. Pretty much a virus with a really red throat. He suggested to chill her bottles and food (although she wasn't even eating banana's out of the fridge) and to watch it over the weekend. So we started putting her bottles in the fridge which seemed to work and we watched it. She seemed to be getting back to our happy baby and started sleeping through the night again so we enjoyed one day of nice weather on Saturday and then played on Sunday even though it was a little cool. Then Monday morning when she got up she was wheezing. GREAT! Emilee and Dad were home on Monday, so I told him to pay attention and see if it worsened. Well.. I went home from work sick at noon and when I finally played with Emilee for a little while before her bath she was still wheezing, so we called and made another appointment. So her appointment on Tuesday we had to go to while it was SNOWING. Crazy.. (for where we live anyways). So they listened, she got a breathing treatment, it helped, so she has Bronchiolitis. So now she is getting breathing treatments three times a day which she is not all that fond of. She is just as happy as she is normally just with a nasty cough and a stuffy, runny nose. Finally last night (Wednesday) at dinner she decided that she wanted to eat her solids. YAY! Here are a few pictures from the past week.
Saturday when the weather was nice we fed the cows before it got cold. I didn't want to put her int he meal, so we put her in a pale. =)
Emilee's thought.. "what the heck is that?"
I had to put this one on here because she is just cackling.
Just a cutie!
Her making her "stinky" face but carrying her blanket across the living room.
Doing her breathing treatment. Hopefully she'll like it a little better soon.

Bundled up
For the rhino ride. Granny Katie needed to feed the cows yesterday so we bundled Emilee up and went for a ride in the rhino. She's loves it, she just sits in your lap looking all around and taking everything in. She looked cute in her blue jeans so we took a few pics.
Yes.. we are missing a shoe. =) It was still in the rhino.

Problem Solving
Emilee this morning on the kitchen floor. She hasn't mastered crawling on the tile, she just ends up scooting backwards, but she was trying her best to figure out how to make it a little futher. One day I'm sure she's going to face plant into the floor which won't be pretty.
Sunshine
Trying to get Emilee ready for Garner. She's going to need to sun glasses that week. =) Since the sun came out on Sunday for a little while we went for a walk.

Mexican Food again
Granny Katie, Aunt Barbara, Daron, Emilee and I went out for Mexican Food tonight. Between all the people and the Spanish live music I think her mind was going to 90 miles an hour. She was just watching people as they walked by. She even reached out and touch a lady's butt as she tried to squeeze in between her high chair and another table.
Dinner was almost over.
She was almost out before we left.

Sleep
I just love to watch Emilee sleep. When I get up to check on her during the night there's not telling where in the crib she will be or how she will be laying. I love it. It's just so cute.
Since Emilee's jaw has grown she has been able to sleep on her back more. I love to see her sleeping on her back because I'm reminded how minor Emilee's PRS case is and thankful we are that all she has ever needed to help her breathing is posistioning. It shows in how she can breathe on her back. She doesn't even snore anymore. I love it - it makes me smile!

Way down
This is what Emilee has been doing the last couple of days. She has learned that she can pull up on things.
She does really well.
This was taken this morning. It was today that I told myself I can not go another night with out lowering her mattress.
So that's what we did this afternoon. (and I shorten the blinds if you're wondering what I'm doing back there.
Sleeping peacefully in her safer bed

As long as she enjoys it.
While we ate pizza last night for dinner, we let Emilee sit in her Bumbo seat and have a Gerber Teething Biscuit. She really enjoyed it and we had fun just watching the mess she was making.
Thought for the next picture..."Don't mess with me, I am the great ninja. Give me back my cookie"
Then she went straight from the seat to the kitchen sink for a quick bath.

Mexican Food Dessert
Granny Katie, Aunt Barbara, Clay, Emilee & I went out for Mexican Food last night. Emilee did pretty well sitting in the high chair eating crackers and playing with her toys.
Emilee got to try the whip cream that comes with their Sopapia's (not sure how to spell it)
And then I realized that the plate was a little too close for little hands. She thought that it was funny.
Both Emilee and Clay loved the dessert.

Getting into things
Emilee is getting the whole crawling thing down. She has begun to explore even more and has started getting into things. It's all cute and fun now, but soon the baby gates will have to go up. =)
Trying to get the lock off at Granny's house
Playing with the 'big kid' toys
Plundering in the shelves
She loves the fireplace at Granny's and Aunt Barbara's

Yummy
Emilee just loves to feed herself. She's loves to eat crackers and the dogs also love for her to eat crackers. They patiently wait for her to eat a piece and drop the rest.
Granny Katie and Aunt Barbara thought that the occiasional funny face was worth of a picture! This was the first time she had gotten to try the cracker so she wasn't sure of it yet, but now she loves them.
She likes the Ritz crackers too.
Vanilla wafers
AND... Olive Garden breadsticks.
