I had my second Dr's appointment on Tuesday, August 26 and we found out that afternoon that I had miscarried this pregnancy shortly after the first visit. The measurements of the baby showed that I was still back at almost eight weeks. We had discussed the fact that this was always a possibility while I was still in my first trimester. God just didn't think that it was our time. I know that he has his hand in everything and that everything is on his schedule for our lives and not our own. So we'll see what happens in the upcoming months. Please keep us in your thoughts.
On a different note, my mom's hand is healing, but not perfectly. The doctor is thinking that he might have to do another surgery because the area over the plate isn't healing properly which can lead to infection on that piece of hardware, so please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers.

Missing you Daddy

Today we lay my dad to rest. It's been a hard couple of days but we all seem to be hanging in there for now. Knowing that the hard times are still to come as all the holidays come and go for the first time without him. We all know the pain that he was in and know now that there is no pain for him. He use to tell us on a daily basis that "I can fix anything but a broken heart, and that's because I never tried." Those words are something that we'll always remember along with so many of his memories. He was the type of person that made an impact on ever single person's life that he came in contact with, Always putting everyone else above himself. He will be greatly missed by so many people, especially his family and friends, but his memories will continue to touch people even while he is gone. We love you daddy and we already miss you so much.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
So last week we went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for my best friend's wedding on the beach. It was Chance's first time to fly, so of course the trip started off interesting. Once we got to Mexico, Chance decided that flying wasn't at all what
he thought it was going to be. He thought that it would be more exciting than it was. He liked the take-off and even the landing, but other than that, he was bored.
Once we got to Mexico, we enjoyed the awesome view of the beach from the Resort balcony. The water was gorgeous and the most bright aqua color that you could imagine. It was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity to see.

The reason that we went was to share the moment of joining two lives together, one that happens to be my best friend for more than 15 years. Kristen and Ryan were married on the beach on the evening of Friday, August 1st.
While we were there, we also had a chance to go fishing. This picture is of the
Sail fish that Chance caught. We only had it on the boat long enough to take a picture of it and then we released it back into the beautiful water. We had a lot of fun. I think that even though the scenery was spectacular, we probably won't go back. We are just as happy spending our time on US soil. =)

Baby Montgomery is due on March 9th, 2009

Chance and I went to my first Dr's appointment on Monday, July 28. The baby is going to be due on March the 9th of next year. So far everything is going great, I have only felt bad a couple of days in the last 8 weeks so I really can't complain. Even with my little hitch hiker going to Mexico, we did pretty well.
The trip was awesome, I'll be posting some pictures soon.
