Since we haven't had any rain our ponds are suffering. Our "back pond" is drying up quick. We have an old seine net that they decided to use to drag the pond, get the perch and bass, and take them up to the other pond. Of course the kids just wanted to play in the mud.
Emilee isn't too sure about touching fish. When we were going perch fishing alot, she wouldn't touch them. Wouldn't even really get close to them. Since there were a bunch of little ones I was trying to get her use to touching them. She did really well and even held one for about three seconds before dropping the poor thing.
She even 'petted' a BIG bass.
Of course what's the best way to get the mud off of the kiddos.... let them 'swim' in the clean pond where they just put all the fish.
