So Blessed

As I was driving away from Jack-in-the-Box today at lunch complaining to myself (I was in the car by myself headed back to work) about my cheese burger order being wrong and thinking to myself 'how hard is it to get right'... all of a sudden I stopped myself and had a different thought. Out loud to myself I said "Thank you God, for giving me two beautiful, healthy babies. And thank you for providing me with the means to take care of them, to put food on the table for them to eat and provide a roof over their heads."

I am extremely blessed and thankful to have a full lap.

Painting

We made a special trip to Walmart this morning to buy paints. With me having to spend a lot time in the house with Maecee, I'm trying to think of things that we can do with Emilee that allow me to stay close to the house. So we painted. She loved it.

So much for all the nice pretty colors all separated...

And then after her nap... we painted some more.

I tried a separated plate this time...

That's not blood on her forehead...  it's paint. Good thing it's "washable"

Once Maecee woke up she hung out outside with us for a little while. It's just so hot. It's hard having a little bitty one in the middle of a Texas summer.

Just a Sunday

I got a new "pocket" camera. It's got a feature that we will use A LOT. It has a screen on the front so when we take pictures like these, we actually take decent ones on the first try. I'm holding the camera for our self portrait. =)

It also has a "kid feature"... that when you are taking a picture of a child it plays a little cartoon on that same front screen. Those two things make it worth it.

Emilee could see herself!

Later in the afternoon we were getting the port-a-crib out for Maecee and found this. She loves to play with all the 'new' baby things.

She wanted to get in "Maecee's" bed

The Other Miss Priss

I can't believe she's growing so fast. I feel like I say that everyday.
