Ever since we got the chicks we have to hunt for grasshoppers everyday. Emilee refuses to say the word "grasshopper" and she calls them "bug bites". So we have to go "bug bite" hunting. This was the first day.
Trying to decide if she wants to touch/hold her first grasshopper.
"ok, I'm going to touch it"
"Look.. I'm holding it" (until it wiggles... it took her a few trys before she would just hold tight)
She decided to use her "critter shack" (no... we didn't name it that, that's what wal-mart named it)
Headed to the pasture for our grasshopper hunting trip
Checking them out (what we are really doing is taking a breather because Granny and I were out of breath from chasing the darn things that can also fly)
