Well... we're off! We are in North Carolina for a week visiting friends and their new baby.
"I'm not listening"
With all of our bags, back packs, car seat and Emilee to carry. I went online to check on our flight and see what gate and terminal we are leaving from... yeah... it was wrong. Granny let us out at terminal B, we say goodbye, go inside, and there is nothing but continental counters.... we are flying US airways. SOOO... down to the train we go and head to terminal A (the correct terminal) and get check in and check our bags and head to our gate. Woo Hoo!

On the plane, of course Emilee won't look
and of course she was into to EVERYTHING
Mommy and Daddy were glad when the 'buckle seatbelt' sign came on... she was confined
making sure she knew what the emergency procedures were and where the nearest exit was
trying for some entertainment
About an hour into the flight she gave up and conked out. Donkey made a pretty good pillow
Overall, Emilee did REALLY well on the planes. She screamed (just to scream) on the second flight... but other than that, did great!
Once we got our rental car and left the airport, the road we were on was blocked by three firetrucks because of a wreck. But what was funny was the name of the department...
... and we thought Cut-N-Shoot Vol Fire Dept was bad...
Once we got to Laura and Norbie's house we got to see everyone and meet Ethan for the first time. Of course Emilee wanted to hold him. She would get him in her lap and then just sit and watch TV like it was nothing.
She gave him some kisses.
