First Santa Picture attempt

While Emilee and I were walking around Walmart we saw Santa sitting all alone. So I decided to see what would happen knowing that this year wasn't going to be pretty as far as a Santa picture was concerned. It wasn't TOO bad, but you can tell by her hands that she didn't want anywhere near him. He even tried to bribe her with a candy cane but it wasn't happening. There was another picture of her trying to get away, I'll have to scan it and add it later. =) We are going to go and see the Christmas lights so we'll have another attempt at the Santa picture.

She's getting big

A little late, but that's ok...  these are from Thanksgiving afternoon (when it was still warm).

Hanging Christmas Lights

Friday was too cold, so Saturday during Emilee's morning nap Mom and I put up the Christmas lights on our house and then Sunday afternoon we put up the lights on Granny's house. It's not close to the road so we let Emilee play (and help).

She wanted to climb the ladder.  She would have to move everytime that I needed to come down.

She also insisted on bring me ALL of the spare bulbs.

Gone Fishin'

During my days off we went fishing a few times. These are from the 24th when it was still warmer.

But of course she wanted my pole.

The these are from the 27th. We actually caught something. Technically Emilee had the pole in her hands when the fish got on, so I guess she caught it.  Once it was out of the water she didn't want ANYTHING to do with it.  You can see where her hands are... as far to her left as she could get them.



Baby Dolls

Lately Emilee has been playing with baby dolls. Granny found an old stroller and a few dolls that belonged to Emilee's cousin when she was little. So they are about 10 years old. They even have pacifiers and sippy cups.  Emilee has been trying to get her doll and stuffed animals to drink from her own sippy cup too... you can't help but smile. These are from this afternoon. I have been lazy about taking pictures. Sorry.

This one just cracked me up. We have a cold front coming in so it's been really windy. You can tell by her hair. She was just standing in the wind and hollaring. It was funny.

She loves to clap with the people on Wheel of Fortune. We have been watching if for about two weeks now because it's so cute. She will be playing and then they start clapping and she drops everything to clap with them.

She also gets in Granny's rocking chair and rock with her babies....  although she rocks SO hard we felt bad for the dolls... She is always so rough.
